Streamlined 2011 - Tunis Mixed By Leon Bolier

TThe next entry into Leon Bolier's weighty discography is 'Streamlined 2011' - the follow up to his solo compilation debut. Buenos Aires was the focus for the 2009 release, but this year he shifts scrutiny to hot-button topic Tunis – one of the epicentres for this year's Arab Spring.

Says Leon: "since I have played in Tunis and other places in the country quite a few times now I wanted to dedicate this CD to the Tunisian crowd. Tunisia was one of the first countries to be affected by the Arabic Spring and it made me realise how precious life and freedom is and should be to every one of us".

So that's the backdrop to the mix. Now where did his compilation and mixing priorities lie? Well finding fresh-from-the-studio music when creating it was a must. At the start of the summer he beat the jungle drums through his Streamlined radio show and social network platforms letting it be known he was on the hunt for new production talent & tracks. Artists from around the planet heeded his call in their legions. Leon's ended up working with many of them to tweak and refine their music. As a result acts like Eden, Diederick van Loo, Danny Cullen Ft. Gracie, Leander Dittrich and others make their debuts on 'Streamlined Tunis' - resulting in an album where over 75% of its music is unreleased and thus far unheard.

Making up the rest of the contingent are international electronic dance artists including Sander van Doorn, Sied van Riel, Orjan Nilsen, Vast Vision and Inpetto, all providing new audio dynamite for it.

The album itself is out on the 9th of Sept and Leon's furnished up with 3 copies to dispence. To be in with a chance of grabbing one tell us which of Leon's many releases has grabbed you the most.
